ASP.NET is a Windows based web technology. However it’s no more true, now we can run ASP.NET applications on a Linux environment using Mono Framework. Mono has developed a stand alone web server called Mono XSP for running ASP.NET applications on C# which can be run using Mono. However they might be interested in writing a small computer program to change things that they see everyday on a computer. Obviously I was interested in doing that since I was a kid, so if we can provide them a nice Graphical User Interface (GUI) with much attractive GUI elements to write a small program with simple syntax they will be much interested to give it a try. »
Ubuntu 9.04 comes with a set of Visual Effects excluding 3D Desktop Cube. Thanks to one of my friends I was able to find some information on how to enable it using Compiz Config Settings Manager. Java Micro Edition (ME) is the Java Specification defined by Sun Microsystems for mobile and embedded devices with limited memory, display and power capacity. Sun only provides a reference implementation for Java ME, therefore third party vendors have implemented Java Runtime Environments (JRE) for different types of devices. I could not find the exact reason for this, but at the early statges of Java ME there had been a JRE release called Personal Java. »
